This past weekend we started digging up the backyard. Remember the brick walkways to nowhere? Don't miss those at all. Not sure how long we are going to have to live with the dirt patch. Anything is better than the dead grass that was once a yard. We are about 3/4 of the way finished. We need to finish the leveling and the husband will soon be the sprinkler expert. I was thinking drip line around the fence and a few heads in the middle of the "yard".
I was not going to mention the slight glitch with the pick axe and the washer cold water line, but I can't help it. The dead grass was so dead and crusty that the husband used a pick axe to break it up. Good news is that now we know where the water lines are. Actually it was kinda momentous, it was our first plumbing experience. He handled it greatly.
