I'm going to try adding something new and exciting to this here blog. How about yummy recipes? We shall start with the bean soup I cooked on sunday.
The recipe is titled Chunky White Bean Soup with Pan-Fried Salami. Its is from Food and Wine 2006 recipe book.
I adapted it a little. Instead of white beans I used the dried soup bean mixture sold in the bag. Instead of the salami I used salt pork and cooked the greens separately. i didn't use kale but greens from the garden.
It was yummy you should make it. Great kick off to the cooking season.
