Apple Tree For Me?

My neighborhood BFF gave me this apple tree a few weeks ago. I stuck it in the ground and it blossomed right away. Its beautiful.

I don't know a lot about fruit trees. I remember we had an apple tree in the yard I grew up in. It produced for many years.

When the fruit decides to come I hope its yummy.
