Seems like everyone is doing it. I have a few California natives that I have purchased. My natural instinct is to landscape with tropicals. I still will plop in a few. I really want more bamboo and some red banana. BUT I am trying to use less water in the front yard.
This weekend we are going to make a small trek to The Tree of Life. I hope I feel inspired. I am getting ancy to start landscaping the front yard. I assume there are such a wide variety of plants that I am sure to find some good "cottage-ish" looking plants.
Not everything has to be roses and hydrangea. Although I love both.
*NOT OPEN ON SUNDAY. Dang. Guess we will go to Rodger's Instead. I have also been wanting to go here.
