Yesterday we did a bit of running around. We had a nice lunch and made our way over to Penzey's. My brother and sister-in-law gave us a gift box for our wedding. We found they had a retail store sorta close to the house. This place is bitchin'! Not quite sure why they were playing the Grease soundtrack but that's ok.
We spent 30 bucks and got a huge bag of goods. The prices were better if you bought the bag instead of the jars but either way they are so cheap that you can experiment with things you probably wouldn't normally have bought.

Don't forget that they have recipes available also - several in the print catalog each issue and I think all are archived on the website.
I started ordering from them because they had some things I couldn't find locally - now their freshness keeps me going back.
