Mothra
The Husband took these pictures a few weeks ago. All that warm weather forced everything to bloom early. These moth's were coming out the same time every evening. Now its gotten cold again so things have died off. Flowers and bugs both.

what kind of moth is that? i've never seen those in my neck of the woods (east coast)....
looks like something out of a japanese horror movie. is it eating nectar?
Very "Silence of the Lambs." I'm keeping an eye on you, Kanno.
Love the sphynx moths! I haven't seen them since moving to Colorado, but they remind me of summers growing up~!
