I am the Lizard Queen

This weekend was full of friends, yard work, beers and Lizards. While we were out raking up years worth of dog poop and decaying leaves we made the discovery that our small piece of land was responsible for the entire population of Sierra Alligator Lizards. The size of these creatures range in size from 2 3/4" - 5 7/8" ours were pushing the envelope. Vilano was quick to take control of the over population and crown herself QUEEN OF THE YARD! She does such a good job of protecting us. I can honestly say I am never going to be attacked by a lizard. Good dog!
I must say the highlight of my weekend was being able to cook dinner for me and Nels. I am so glad our kitchen works. Nothing like eating pork chops after 2 hard days of yard work.
