More on the Floor

Everyone knows I hate the kitchen floor. I have done a lot of patchwork in there but I was expecting to pay someone to rip out the linoleum. I might have just changed my mind.

I was scrubbing the floor and a big chunk of the lino came up. I knew that there was wood under there but I just assumed that it was glued down and was going to be a nightmare to get up.

Now I think differently. Its so dried up that it just flakes off.

Its kinda like a flooring sandwich. Lino, some kinda board (nailed to floor), another layer of lino, and the sticky back. Not too bad.
