Maters!

I finally have a few ripe ones. I have been picking the Golden Hybrids for while. That one was a starter plant from Lowe's, they are really yummy and super sweet. They are even tasty when they are still little green guys.

We are finally able to pick some of the big mamas I have been waiting for. The mater in the picture is a Volkov. Its not as big as I would like it to be but I'm picking them a little young. I have waited this long I'm scared some bird or bug will get to it before I do.

Hopefully my harvest will last into the fall. Yummy!
